OK, as a real driver and dragracer, and that's NOT in a prius, but a V8-fire-breathing-american-machine, cruise control is just good driving via consistent speed. We all hate that guy who goes flying by you in the left lane doing 80, who then moves to the middle, only to be going 50 again in 2 minutes, making you pass him. Or that guy doing 70, then 50, then 70 in the left lane, just blocking traffic. Cruise control...it can be a help to good driving...but crap. The fact I care might make me old? Hmm... my girlfriend says I'm 12 though despite being 31. Cruise control is phenomenal!
